Christmas Fun

Okay, so this has nothing to do with fabric or sewing, but I just had to share. I found this yummy recipe for Cinnamon Caramels over the weekend. I love caramels and I love cinnamon candy, so I knew I had to try it. Let me tell you, they are delicious. They are not overpowering, just a light hint of cinnamon. I made it for a family party and everyone loved them.

New Quilt

Look at the fun quilt I just got back from my quilter today. I love it!!! It could be for a boy or girl. It measures 49x 59. I got this pattern from I have to say  blog. It was a quilt along. I have made 3 quilts using the same pattern. It is super easy and so fun! And I am so excited to finally get some Alphabet Soup yardage in today. I have been patiently waiting for this fabric to be available. I can't wait to make something with it. Check it out!

I can't believe I have waited this long to make a decorative pillow. It was so fun. My 4 year old daughter helped me fill the pillow. I think we will be making more in the near future--so says my daughter :) And the pillowcases were done in 20 minutes--both of them.
