New Quilt

Look at the fun quilt I just got back from my quilter today. I love it!!! It could be for a boy or girl. It measures 49x 59. I got this pattern from I have to say blog. It was a quilt along. I have made 3 quilts using the same pattern. It is super easy and so fun!




And I am so excited to finally get some Alphabet Soup yardage in today. I have been patiently waiting for this fabric to be available. I can't wait to make something with it. Check it out!

What can you do with a 10 inch Stacker or Layer Cake? Well, the ideas are unlimited. Here are a couple of quilts I have made with Riley Blake 10 inch Stackers: This Alphabet Soup Girl quilt is a Double Slice Layer Cake. It was so quick--I think I made it in 2 hours. I can't believe I have waited this long to make a decorative pillow. It was so fun. My 4 year old daughter helped me fill the pillow. I think we will be making more in the near future--so says my daughter :) And the pillowcases were done in 20 minutes--both of them.
