Last month, I attended, well really hosted, a craft day in my area with some great ladies. We had a wonderful time. I just had to show you some of the projects we made:
I just found your blog through etsy...I'm drooling over your Moda Fat Quarter Bundle for fall...can't buy it right now, but it's on my wish list! =) Lovely blog!
What can you do with a 10 inch Stacker or Layer Cake? Well, the ideas are unlimited. Here are a couple of quilts I have made with Riley Blake 10 inch Stackers: This Alphabet Soup Girl quilt is a Double Slice Layer Cake. It was so quick--I think I made it in 2 hours. This Dainty Blossoms quilt is my own pattern. I have made some baby quilts using charm packs, so I decided to use the same method, but with 10 inch squares. I absolutely LOVE the chocolate brown quilting design. And my daughter loves her quilt. And this pattern in my shop is made for 10 inch squares too:
COLD SEASON It's that time of year when family members are getting sick--runny noses, headaches, chills and fevers. I have put together a few things I keep on hand all year. BeeKeeper's Propolis Throat Spray. This stuff helps keep my family from getting sick. The taste isn't medicinal at all and its good for kids and adults. Beekeeper's Propolis Soothing Lozenges. I bought these with my last purchase. My kids HATE cough drops, so hopefully they will use these. Oscillococcinum. Once my family does get sick, these help tremendously! My son had a fever 2 days before a soccer tournament. I gave him these and within 3 hours he was up and wanted to go to school. Don't worry, I kept him home for the day. He was able to play in his soccer tournament. I have given these to coworkers and everyone loves their effectiveness. Safe for kids and adults. This post contains affiliate links.
I have had a lot of requests about the Zig Zag quilt from my Etsy banner. Here is a better picture It was made with the Riley Blake All Star fabric collection. I made it with a pattern from Bee Square . Here is a picture of a few rows layed out. I love the pattern because there are no triangle pieces :) My cute sister-in-law loved this quilt when I gave it to her and her new baby boy. The back of it is blue minky--so soft. I even made a bigger one for my son's twin bed. It is at my quilter's right now. I will post a picture when I get it back.
