Alphabet Soup Girl Quilt

I finally got around to finishing this quilt. It really didn't take long to make, but July was a really bad month for me. My hubby left the country for 12 days, my son cut his finger at scout camp and required surgery, and my 3 boys all started school. This is a really fun quilt pattern. It gives it a patch look, without a lot of work. And all this from a 10" stacker.



The back will be this:

After a good pressing, it will be off to the quilter. Now I have to decide on a design and thread color. I will post another picture when it is all done.

New Quilt

Look at the fun quilt I just got back from my quilter today. I love it!!! It could be for a boy or girl. It measures 49x 59. I got this pattern from I have to say  blog. It was a quilt along. I have made 3 quilts using the same pattern. It is super easy and so fun! And I am so excited to finally get some Alphabet Soup yardage in today. I have been patiently waiting for this fabric to be available. I can't wait to make something with it. Check it out!

I can't believe I have waited this long to make a decorative pillow. It was so fun. My 4 year old daughter helped me fill the pillow. I think we will be making more in the near future--so says my daughter :) And the pillowcases were done in 20 minutes--both of them.
